WOULD YOU LIKE A GLOWJOB?
After living in Amsterdam for a while everyone starts looking for new alternative parties besides the regular circuity FUNHOUSE or dark techno SPIELRAUM. I’m glad to announce that finally there is a great alternative - UV light party - GLOWJOB!
Globally black light parties are know for cheesy music and bucket drinks, but not this one - it’s colorful, playful, full of gorgeous and friendly boys dancing to great quality music! Always great decorations, amazing body painters, they even give away tons of UV light reflective accessories. Basically you don’t need to bring an outfit - just drop that tee, and ask the body painter for a splash of neon paint or simply accessorize yourself at their beauty corner!
Don’t expect it to be a huge circuity party - it’s in a pretty small, but very cosy venue with the capacity of 300 - the hidden gem, that locals would enjoy and most tourist would miss. GLOWJOB is not advertised widely - it’s a night for friends and friends of the friends. As it was written in one review - this is the party where you actually make friends - the best compliment for an event ever!
This party brand that started only last year, but already threw three GLOWJOBS with a new twist each time. The latest one - Neon Xmas surprised us by the performances that never stopped: from dancers to acrobats to drag queens. There even was a neon Xmas tree and naughty Santa with a bag of naughty presents!
Talking about naughty - expect this party to start classy, with boys dressed up or covered in an artsy paint work, but couple hours later the t-shirts will disappear, paint will wash away and it will become a pretty sweaty fun - exactly what you need for a great party!
For this edition GLOWJOB partnered up with VLK BERLIN - the party clothing brand. The acrobats were wearing their UV light reflecting outfits, partygoers got some neon presents from them, and I was happy to get a chance to try their harness and wristbands as well. Without no doubt - the best party wear I ever had a chance to wear!
