THE FABULOUS LAS VEGAS - THE CITY WHERE EVERYTHING IS FAKE

The sin city is definitely the perfect place to come, party and spend your money. That's if you’re straight. Surprisingly gays still don’t have a proper representation in this city (that’s if we don’t count Britney performing almost every night).

 

Walking / driving down the infamous Vegas strip you will see all kinds of entertainment for heteros; half naked girls for instance, but hardly anything for us. There’s the Chip and Dales Strip show, but it doesn’t seem to be a gay friendly show (plus a gay version would be much hotter!).

 

There are gay clubs opening and closing every year. KRAVE tried to become the biggest gay club in the world (it should have better stayed small, when it was pure fun), LIAISON tried to be the only glamorous one on the strip - both are out of business. Only the more basic ones like PIRANHA has stayed for years, but it’s not even a walkable distance from your hotel. Basically gays are not welcome on the Vegas strip. The only chance is if you come here in summertime - TEMPTATION SUNDAYS pool party if that will be still happening.

 

It looks like Americans like this city much more than Europeans do. The reason you might often hear is that it's considered a "fake city” and it’s not only about the fake Eiffel tower, but also about the people. All that the locals care about is easy money. Being a fake friend and pretending how they like you helps them achieve that goal!

 

So if you come here, don’t expect amazing gay night life, go see Britney, get drunk and stay drunk all weekend. Oh, and never come to Vegas on a weekday - you would be surprised how deserted it is!
