GAYNIGHTER Loup Blanc
NEW YEARS EVE IN LONDON IS ALWAYS A BAD IDEA
New years eve is very special time for me. I try to celebrate it every year in different cities. So far I did it Prague, Bangkok,...
London is definitely one of the gay capitals of the world. There’s not many places where you would feel 100% fine kissing a boy in the street. Soho is a pretty big gayborhood which is located basically in the very center of the city, next to all the theaters - gays adore musicals after all!
After visiting London for years, I never felt like I’m going to the gay ghetto - somehow straight and gays nicely coexist. That’s what I call 100% tolerance and acceptance.
As for a night out - Soho is basically for bars and some bar dancing. You pick if you wanna have a gin & tonic and dance to the pop beats, or have a few pints with other fellows growing your bellies. For some real dancing you have to walk a mile to the (twinks) HEAVEN where Lady Gaga, Nichole Scherzinger and other A list stars come to perform their new singles. Or get a cab to XXL for some more alternative fetish, but surprisingly nice party.
Every July London pride is an absolute must! One of the biggest parties, just get ready to be in the packed streets. But it’s worth it as it’s the only time of year when London doesn’t feel gray and miserable.
I'm not gonna be talking about saunas and sex clubs (I did hear they are very good though) people go during the day. I preferably would be more in favor of sipping my afternoon tea with milk for my hangover while getting ready for the next night out.
