PARIS - THE CITY WHERE GAYS GO TO DIE?

I heard this saying years ago and I must say that’s how boring Paris looked to me. The gay neighborhood Le Marais is beautiful, but there’s nothing really interesting to do. The youngest men on the street are in their 40s, favorite past time is drinking coffee or wine and talking talking talking talking talking…

 

There are couple dancing bars like COX or RAIDD famous for shower boys. Yet again - if you’re not into daddies or don’t associate with stupid tourists - don’t go there! You’ll spend crazy money for drinks and will have zero fun!

I’ve been coming to Paris for years until finally I found a fun part of the city and the gays enjoying their life (not waiting to die). So far I found 2 parties worth your attention - LE BAL CON and LE GRAND HOTEL, both at club Badaboum, where I basically spend a weekend.

On Sunday afternoon you must go to ROSA BONHEUR in Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. It’s an establishment! Up to 2 hours drinking in the line, then bottles of wine and chatting outdoors that at the sunset leads to the dance party. Everybody is tipsy and fun - there’s no better way to spend your Sunday evening!

If you have enough time - try some kind of peculiar party - LE TANGO / BOITE A FRISSONS. You will feel like it’s a prom night again. Except for parents selling you alcohol. You might be asked to sit down and watch some performance. Weird night guaranteed!
